📍 Location: London, UK (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
🕒 Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
💰 Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum + discretionary bonus + full study support
🎓 Study Support: CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or DipFA (LIBF)
About the Role
We’re offering a career-starting opportunity for a driven and ethical individual to join our advisory team as a Financial Advice Trainee. This role is designed for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to enter the financial planning profession, with full sponsorship for an FCA-recognised Level 4 Diploma (CII or LIBF).
You’ll begin with the UK Financial Regulation module and build your technical and client-facing skills alongside experienced advisers and paraplanners. The role includes structured training, mentorship, and real responsibilities that will prepare you to become a fully qualified adviser.
What You'll Do
- Support financial advisers in preparing client suitability reports, investment proposals, and planning documentation
- Assist with client fact-finding and gather relevant financial information
- Liaise with product providers, platforms, and back-office teams to ensure accurate administration
- Maintain accurate and compliant client records in line with FCA requirements
- Stay current with UK financial regulation and evolving product knowledge
- Begin your regulated studies with full access to learning resources and paid study leave
- Shadow client meetings and gain insight into real-life financial advice delivery
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- A degree (2:2 or higher) in Finance, Economics, Law, Business, or a related subject
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong interest in personal finance, wealth planning, and ethical financial advice
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to commit to studying and passing the Level 4 Diploma
- Eligibility to work in the UK
Desirable:
- Exposure to financial services, either through work or study
- Familiarity with pensions, investments, or protection products
- Initial understanding of FCA regulations or progress on R01 / FSRE
