Location: Manchester, UK (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum + discretionary bonus + full study support
Study Support: CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or DipFA (LIBF)

About the Role

We’re hiring a Junior Financial Adviser to join our Regulated Advice Development Scheme based in Manchester. This is a structured, long-term opportunity for those ready to build a career in financial planning.

As part of the programme, you'll work closely with qualified advisers and paraplanners, gaining experience in client research, advice preparation, and compliance, all while studying for a Level 4 FCA-recognised certification. You’ll get study support, mentoring, and real responsibilities to help you become a fully qualified adviser.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of client reports, investment proposals, and advice documents
  • Assist with fact-finding, financial data collection, and compliance checks
  • Liaise with internal teams and product providers to manage client administration
  • Keep client files fully updated and compliant with FCA regulations
  • Start your studies with the UK Financial Regulation module (CII R01 or LIBF FSRE)
  • Shadow advisers in client meetings to build real-world understanding

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • A degree (2:2 or higher) in Finance, Economics, Law, Business, or similar
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Genuine interest in personal finance and ethical financial advice
  • Strong attention to detail and a professional mindset
  • Willingness to gain the Level 4 Diploma and CAS
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • Experience in financial services or admin-based roles
  • Familiarity with pensions, ISAs, or protection products
  • Progress on CII R01 / LIBF FSRE or some regulatory knowledge
