Salary: £23,000 – £26,000 per annum

About the Role

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a driven graduate to join our finance team as a Junior Accountant (ACCA Trainee). This role is perfect for individuals looking to launch their career in accounting while working towards the ACCA qualification, fully sponsored by the company.

You’ll be trained across a wide range of finance tasks, including accounts preparation, reconciliations, month-end support, and financial reporting — all while receiving structured study and professional development support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts
  
• Support day-to-day finance operations (AP/AR, bank reconciliations, journals)
  
• Help maintain the general ledger and assist in month-end closing
  
• Prepare VAT returns and support audit preparation
  
• Support senior accountants with budgeting and forecasting
  
• Ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date
  
• Learn and apply basic accounting principles in a professional environment
  

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline (minimum 2:2)
  
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
  
• Good working knowledge of Excel
  
• Eagerness to study towards the ACCA qualification
  
• High attention to detail and a proactive attitude
  
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
  

Desirable:

• Internship or placement experience in an accounting or finance function
  

Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
